| 3e Open Vlaams Kampioenschap 13 oktober |       |
Onder de paraplu van de IQA zal het 3e OVK georganiseerd worden op 13 oktober, als voorprogramma van de Kruimel Quiz. De quiz zal stipt om 15.00 beginnen, maar het scheelt een stuk als iedereen een kwartier eerder aanwezig is.
Waar? Basisschool Meerlaar, Meerlaarstraat 95 te Vorst- Laakdal (Klein-Vorst) ; niet ver van afrit 24 op de E313
Wie ? De vragen worden opnieuw opgesteld door een tweetal; Steve Wuestenbergs en Tom Trogh, eventueel aangevuld door een aantal andere vragenmakers.
Kosten ? 3 euro per deelnemer
Om de spreiding van de onderwerpen van vorig jaar aan te kunnen houden, gaan de meeste (misschien zelfs alle) vragen schriftelijk gesteld worden. In tegenstelling tot het WK valt de slechtste categorie echter niet weg.
Alle foto's die nodig zijn zullen op papier op tafel liggen, ondersteund door een kleurenprojectie op het scherm. Wij zullen ook de belangrijkste componenten van de vraag in het vet afdrukken.
De moeilijkheidsgraad komt, zoals de vorige jaren, min of meer overeen met deze van het WK.
Indien er interesse is vanuit Engelse hoek, zullen wij de vragen ook in het Engels vertalen. Hetzelfde voor eventuele Franssprekende deelnemers.

B. Categorieën 16 vragen

C. Categorieën 12 vragen

Zingeving
20e eeuw
Tot slot is er nog een uitgebreide categorie varia (met ondermeer taal, gastronomie, actua, games, pc, transport, verzamelarij, ........)
Uiteraard zullen er ook een aantal typische Belgische en Nederlandse vragen in de quiz zitten. We gaan daar niet in overdrijven maar elke ronde zal er zeker iets inzitten.
De hoofdmoot zijn natuurlijk wel internationale vragen.

Afrit 24--ligt dat niet wat ver ?  Waar ligt Vorst-Klein Laakdal ?
Nu, in principe 14.Staf Dujardin + 4 Alzheimerspelers (dit laatste is wel een conditio sine qua non--want ik wil hoedanook de avondquiz spelen).

Het ligt iets verder dan St-Antonius Zoersel, maar na de afrit ben je er op 5 minuten. Vanuit Knokke duurt de trip ongeveer 1u 15 min. (Aarschot ligt bv. op 1u 30 min.)
Het is ook bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer. Het station van Diest, en daarna de bus naar Tessenderlo, en daar overstappen naar Klein Vorst.
Ik wil zelfs enkele mensen ophalen of laten ophalen aan het station.
Ik noteer de nrs. 14 15 16 17 18 voor Alzheimer

De zaal is groot genoeg om zo'n 200 man individueel te laten spelen.

Dat er een rubriek "zingeving" (met interessante vragen!) bestaat ipv "godsdienst" doet alvast het beste vermoeden.
Voorbeeld van een mooi vraagje (dat ook onder geografie kan voorkomen). In Rome is er één (1) plein waarop geen kerk te bespeuren valt. Niet toevallig staat hier het standbeeld van Giordano Bruno, de vrijdenker die in 1600 op de brandstapel werd gegooid door de Inquisitie. Welk plein?

Ge zijt ook een rappen, gij ? Waar staan die namen ? Wie mee wil kan mee. Ook Old Mentor nog vragen hé--of andere kandidaten uit het Westvlaamse ?
